Navigating the vibrant world of fashion during New York Fashion Week (NYFW) is always an exhilarating experience, and this year was no exception. As I ran, walked, and jogged through the bustling venues, I wore Hermès Barenia Eau de Parfum, a fragrance that perfectly encapsulated the essence of the event. This sophisticated scent, crafted by perfumer Christine Nagel, is a warm and sensual blend that resonated with the energy of the runway.
The Barenia Eau de Parfum opens with the invigorating aroma of butterfly lily, which provides a fresh and floral introduction that instantly captivates the senses. This delicate note is beautifully complemented by the subtle sweetness of miracle berry.
The scent evolves as the hours ring , revealing the deeper rich warmth of oakwood and the earthy intensity of patchouli.
The warm, woody base notes provided a comforting depth, while the floral top notes kept the scent light and uplifting which is needed for the high-energy atmosphere of fashion week. The aestheticof the Barenia bottle itself are worth noting. Inspired by Hermès’ Collier de Chien bracelet, the elliptical glass curves and stud-adorned metal plate reflect the brand's commitment to craftsmanship and elegance. Holding the bottle felt like a statement in itself, a reminder of the artistry that goes into each Hermès creation.
